Jwala Singh announces ceasefire

LAHAN, Sept 17: Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh), an armed group active in the Tarai, on Thursday announced ceasefire for Dashain, Tihar, Chhath and Eid festivals. The ceasefire will be effective from September 19 to October 25.



Singh announced the 36-day ceasefire in phone calls to journalists on Thursday.
