KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Defense Minister Bidhya Bhandari said Thursday that the country can procure from neighboring countries “equipment” needed for regular activities of security agencies, according to our correspondent Kiran Chapagain.
Speaking to reporters at Tribhuvan International Airport upon returning from her trips to Fiji and India, Bhandari, however, rubbished reports that any deal has been reached with India to import weapons.
She also said that India has principally agreed to provide “equipment” to Nepal to bolster security agencies and take the peace process to a conclusion.
