With less than three weeks remaining before the end of the current fiscal year, the government faces a daunting fiscal challenge: collecting nearly a quarter of its annual revenue target in just 19 days.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, action was taken against 89 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol, 108 for operating ride-sharing services in violation of regulations, 99 for violating traffic signals and 83 for speeding.
