According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, last night, the first lady of Bollywood Gauri Khan (no, who else then?) chose quiet grace over a boisterous party to celebrate her 50th birthday. She spent the day at home with husband Shah Rukh and their little son AbRam; the older two, Aryan and Suhana, are not in the country.

Present were Shah Rukh’s New Delhi besties Shalini and Sanjay Passi, who are currently the couple’s house guests. The evening also saw some of the birthday girl’s best friends – Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Rima Jain, Nitasha Nanda – come over for an intimate dinner.
