KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam’s health condition has become critical.
He is currently undergoing treatment on a ventilator at Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) in Sinamangal, according to hospital sources.
Alam has been framed, argues Alam's lawyer Raman Shrestha
The hospital has also denied rumors circulating on social media about his death. “The claims on social media are fake ones. He is alive and being treated on a ventilator,” a hospital source said.
Alam had suffered a brain stroke earlier in May after being released from Nakkhu Prison, and he was treated at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Maitighar at that time.
