KATHMANDU, April 7: The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office (KVCIO) Teku, on Monday arrested actress and model Annie Kunwar.
Kunwar was arrested during the investigation into the protest that took place in Tinkune, Kathmandu on March 28. She was arrested from Lalitpur, according to SSP Angur GC at KVCIO.

SSP GC stated, “Kunwar was seen at the house where journalist Suresh Rajak was burnt alive. She was arrested for investigation related to the incident. It is wrong to enter someone’s house without permission.”
During a violent pro-monarchy protest led by Durga Prasai, two people were killed and 20 others were injured by police gunfire. In connection with this case, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Rabindra Mishra, Dhawal Shamsher Rana and others are in custody, while Prasai is absconding.
