KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Poshraj Pokharel has been given the responsibility of the central spokesperson of Nepal Police.

Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh appointed DIG Pokharel, who is working at the IGP Singh's Secretariat of Inspector General's Secretariat, as the central spokesperson on Monday.
After the previous spokesperson Tek Prasad Rai was transferred to Lumbini Province Police Office in Tulsipur Dang, Deputy Inspector General of Police Pokharel has been assigned to the post of central police spokesperson, according to the Police Head Office.
