SUNSARI, May 28: A fire broke out at Tirupati Wood Panel Industry in the Sunsari-Morang Industrial Corridor early this morning. Firefighters have been battling the blaze since 2:30 AM.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari, chief of the local police office, said an electrical short circuit likely caused the fire. Authorities deployed 16 fire engines from Dharan, Biratnagar, Itahari, Damak, Pathari, Duhabi, Inaruwa, and nearby areas to control the flames.
