PHUNGLING (TAPLEJUNG), January 12: An Italian citizen, 56-year-old Sergio Fetoza, who was injured in a fall in Taplejung, has been rescued by helicopter. A Prabhu Air helicopter flew him to Kathmandu for treatment of his serious injuries today.
According to Bibek Basnet, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Fetoza, an employee of United Mewa Hydropower in Meringden Rural Municipality-3, Khamlung, was injured on Thursday after falling. He was taken to the district hospital the same day for treatment.

Fetoza suffered a broken left arm and injuries to his abdomen. The District Police Office stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.
