HUMLA, Sept 28: Rain and snowfall have disrupted daily life in Humla. Most areas, including the district headquarters Simkot, are experiencing disruptions in telephone and internet services.
The solar systems powering communication towers in higher-altitude areas have failed, resulting in the outages. The communication disruptions have made it difficult to coordinate with local authorities, security agencies and other government offices to assess the damage.

Several school buildings have been reportedly damaged by the rain, while many roads have become impassable.
Simkot has also experienced snowfall, while the Hilsa route has been completely blocked due to heavy snow.
