According to the institutions, the extended agreement will enable Nepali students to pursue British-standard education within the country while maintaining opportunities for international exposure. The partnership also retains the “2+2” and “2+1” transfer models, allowing students to complete part of their studies in Nepal and finish their degrees in the United Kingdom, the press release stated.
The press release further stated that the institutions said the renewed MOU ensures continuity in academic validation, with programmes in areas such as business, hospitality and information technology aligned with UK standards. Students will also continue to benefit from credit transfer options, enabling a seamless transition to the UK campus.
Officials highlighted that the arrangement offers a cost-effective pathway to obtain a UK degree, reducing the financial burden of studying abroad full-time. The partnership also provides opportunities for internships, placements and post-study work under the UK’s graduate visa scheme.
According to TBC, the renewal is expected to strengthen Nepal-UK academic ties further while expanding access to globally recognised education for Nepali students.
