Birgunj (Parsa), May 28: Police have arrested two individuals from Parsa district on charges of rape. Among the arrested is 23-year-old Bishal Yadav of Sangthi, Jagarnathpur Rural Municipality-6, who has been accused of raping a teenage girl.
According to Parsa Police Spokesperson Kishor Lamsal, Indian national Manish Paswan was also arrested on similar charges on Monday. Paswan allegedly lured a teenage girl and took her to India, where he repeatedly raped her.

Based on a complaint filed by the victim, both Yadav and Paswan have been remanded to judicial custody with permission from the district court as investigations continue, said spokesperson Lamsal.
