KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Gen Z activist Rakshya Bam has called on the Nepali Congress’s 15th General Convention to address the issues raised by the Gen Z movement and the need for reforms within the party.
In a social media post on Sunday, Bam said the Nepali Congress (NC) has moved toward selecting new leadership through its special and regular general conventions with the aim of addressing questions raised by the Gen Z movement and the need for reform within the party.

She said the 15th General Convention should take seriously the need for introspection and reform within the party.
Referring to NC founder and veteran leader BP Koirala’s emphasis on the need for self-criticism within the party, Bam said the Congress should work to correct its weaknesses.
She said the 15th General Convention should also reflect on Koirala’s emphasis on self-criticism and expressed her desire to see a reformed Nepali Congress.
