KATHMANDU, March 31: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has decided to return 14 doctors currently on secondment to their original positions to strengthen services at their respective hospitals, including Dodeldhura Hospital, Narayani Sub-regional Hospital and Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.
The doctors being returned include Dr Rohita Bajracharya from Bharatpur Hospital, Dr Josnalala Bajracharya from the Koshi Province Office, Dr Vishal Kumar Dewal from Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar, and Dr Sushil Samdarshi from the Karnali Province Chief Minister’s Office, who will be assigned to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital; Dr Santosh Kumar Gupta from the Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister’s Office, Dr Misanta Sharma from Pokhara Health Science Academy, and Dr Suyogya Wagle from the Chief Minister and Cabinet Office, who will go to Dodeldhura Hospital; and Dr. Sonikadhari Shrestha from National Medical College, Bir Hospital, Dr Sanjog Timilsina from Pokhara Health Science Academy, Dr Arun Gyawali from the Lumbini Province Chief Minister’s Office, Dr Mukesh Paudel from the Health Services Department, Teku, and Dr Dipesh Bhattarai from Kanti Children’s Hospital, who will be posted at Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Parsa.

The MoHP stated that these doctors fall under ninth and tenth levels of health service employees, and the move aims to enhance healthcare delivery in these hospitals.
