KATHMANDU, Sept 30: A group of 50 Nepali officials has left for India to attend a five-day training program on natural farming at Gurukul, Kurukshetra, from September 29 to October 3, according to a press statement issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.
The program is fully sponsored by the Government of India and is the third batch of Nepali officials to participate. The first and second batches completed the training in September 2023 and August 2025, respectively.

The training aims to strengthen knowledge and capacity in natural and sustainable farming practices through practical exposure and the exchange of experiences and best practices, the statement said.
The initiative reflects the longstanding agriculture partnership between Nepal and India and their shared commitment to promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible farming practices, it said.
