All-party meeting called ahead of parliamentary session

An all-party meeting will take place on Wednesday at 1 PM at the Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

KATHMANDU, March 31: Ahead of the upcoming federal parliamentary session, the Parliament Secretariat has called an all-party meeting. The meeting was summoned following the President’s announcement of the session, made on the government’s recommendation, to allow political parties to prepare.

The first meeting of Members of Parliament elected in the House of Representatives (HoR) election held on March 5 is scheduled for Thursday at 2 PM. Ahead of this, an all-party meeting will take place on Wednesday at 1 PM at the Secretariat in Singha Durbar.


Representatives from all parties, government officials, and senior officers from the Parliament Secretariat are expected to attend. The HoR currently includes the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
