BIRGUNJ: An unidentified armed group shot at a local businessman here, Sunday evening, leaving him injured. Police said the group shot at Bishwo Nath Bhagat, who was sitting at an Ayurvedic shop at Mahabirsthan in Birgunj, at 6:00 pm. Bhagat, who received bullet injury on his right arm, is undergoing treatment at the AMC Hospital. His condition is stable.
Tarai-based armed outfit, Madhesi Mukti Tigers, called up journalists to say that they were behind the attack.
