Chief Justice returns home after India visit

Chief Justice Sharma held a bilateral meeting with Justice Kant during the visit and discussed the exchange of judicial practices between the two countries.

KATHMANDU, July 27: Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma returned home on Sunday after completing a four-day official visit to India.



He had left for India on July 23 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Justice Surya Kant. According to Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, Chief Justice Sharma held a bilateral meeting with Justice Kant during the visit and discussed the exchange of judicial practices between the two countries.

Chief Justice Sharma also visited the Supreme Court of India and observed its judicial proceedings and court administration.


He was accompanied by his spouse, Uma Sharma, and Joint Registrar Amit Upreti during the visit.
