KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina, has cancelled his scheduled visit to Seoul, Republic of Korea, to participate in the ‘Global ICT Leadership Forum.’

Minister Timilsina was scheduled to attend the event taking place in Seoul from September 30 to October 9, 2026.
The Ministry has cited the challenging circumstances arising from disasters in various parts of the country and the need to prioritize rescue, relief, rehabilitation, and the operation of communication services in affected areas as the primary reason for cancelling the visit.
