KATHMANDU, Aug 16: A cyclist died after being hit by a tipper truck. According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Ishnalal Ganesh of Jhapa Rural Municipality-3.
Ganesh, who was seriously injured after being hit by the tipper on Saturday evening, died at B&B Hospital in Birtamod later that day.

Police have arrested the tipper driver, 36-year-old Fagulal Rajbanshi of Kamatoli, Jhapa Rural Municipality-3, who fled the scene after the accident. Angry locals vandalized the tipper after learning of Ganesh’s death.
