KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday inclined 7.10 points to close at 2,971.31 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,964.21 points and declined to the day’s low at 2,918.21 points in the first one hour and 37 minutes of trading. The index however went to an inclining trend and added around 53 points in the remaining period before the market closed for the day.
Daily turnover crosses Rs 9 billion as NEPSE gains 24.50 points

Five out of the 13 groups were the gainers as development banks added the largest of 193.68 points. Manufacturing and processing followed with an increase of 177.54 points, while trading gained 141.11 points
The sensitive index which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies inclined 1.05 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 19.36 billion from Rs 26.57 billion on Sunday.
Among individual companies, 115 were gainers while 135 were recorded as losers. Shivam Cements had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 925.78 million.
Trade Tower Limited gained 10 percent of its market price and stood as the topmost gainer. Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited with a decline of 9.99 percent was recorded as the highest loser.
