Death of student who jumped off nursing college building

DOLAKHA, April 5: A female student who jumped off five and a half floors of Tsho-Rolpa Nursing College in Charikot, died on Thursday evening.

DOLAKHA, April 5: A female student who jumped off five and a half floors of Tsho-Rolpa Nursing College in Charikot, died on Thursday evening.



Karuna Adhikari, who was seriously injured after jumping off the building on Thursday evening, succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

She was rushed to Kathmandu for medical care following the incident. Inspector Jeewan Shrestha of the District Police Office, Dolakha, said that she breathed her last at Madhyapur Hospital in Bhaktapur at 12:30 pm while undergoing treatment.


Hailing from Pokhara, Karuna was a first-year student pursuing PCL Nursing at the aforementioned college.


Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that she had been battling depression.
