Election Commission lifts code of conduct

The EC had originally imposed the code of conduct starting January 18 for the National Assembly elections on January 25 and the House of Representatives elections on March 5.

KATHMANDU, March 9: The Election Commission (EC) has lifted the code of conduct that had been in place for elections, effective from Monday midnight.



The decision was made in the EC’s Monday meeting, specifying that the code of conduct would no longer be in effect from 12:00 AM today.
