KATHMANDU, Oct 10: The sixth round of the 2026/27 English Premier League season is kicking off on Saturday.
Following a three-week international break, the league resumes with six matches scheduled for the day. In the day's headline fixtures, Arsenal will play against Leeds United, while Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur.
In the first match of the day, Arsenal will compete against Leeds United at 5:15 PM (Nepali time). Playing at their home ground, the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal aims to bounce back to winning ways and put their recent defeat behind them; they lost 3–0 to Brighton in the fifth round. Meanwhile, Leeds United is preparing to challenge Arsenal, having remained unbeaten so far this season.

In another exciting match later tonight, Manchester United will host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Both teams will take the field aiming for a victory in the match, which begins at 10:15 PM. United, having struggled to perform up to expectations this season, hopes to capitalize on home advantage to improve their points tally. Tottenham, too, will be looking to improve their standing in the league.
Other matches on Saturday include contests between Aston Villa and Brentford, Chelsea and Bournemouth, Ipswich Town and Fulham, and Sunderland and Brighton. All four of these matches are scheduled to start at 7:45 PM.
The sixth-round fixtures will continue on Sunday and Monday as well. Matches between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, as well as Hull City and Everton, will take place on Sunday. In another high-profile clash on Sunday, Liverpool will face Manchester City; the match is scheduled to kick off at 9:15 PM.
Coventry City and Newcastle United will face off on Monday in the final match of the sixth round. That game will begin at 12:45 AM on Tuesday.
By the conclusion of the fifth round, Manchester City holds the top spot with 15 points, having won all five of their matches.
