Fake student caught taking exam in Kathmandu

The individual, identified as Keshav Rokaya, 26, from Chandanath Municipality-8 in Jumla, was taking an exam on behalf of Dan Bahadur Rokaya, a student enrolled in the third semester of the MPA program at the Public Administration Campus in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, June 25: A fake examinee was caught by Kathmandu police while appearing in an exam under another person’s name.



The individual, identified as Keshav Rokaya, 26, from Chandanath Municipality-8 in Jumla, was taking an exam on behalf of Dan Bahadur Rokaya, a student enrolled in the third semester of the MPA program at the Public Administration Campus in Kathmandu.

The campus itself filed the complaint leading to his arrest. Police have obtained a five-day remand to investigate the case under the Education Act.
