Flash flood risk in 17 districts, including Kathmandu, today

According to a bulletin issued by the Flood Forecasting Division on Sunday, water levels are likely to rise in small rivers and streams flowing through or around Dhankuta, Udayapur, Sindhuli, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchok, Kavrepalanchok, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Banke and Bardiya.

KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Small rivers and streams in 17 districts, including Kathmandu, are likely to see significantly increased water levels, with a moderate risk of flash floods on Sunday.



According to a bulletin issued by the Flood Forecasting Division on Sunday, water levels are likely to rise in small rivers and streams flowing through or around Dhankuta, Udayapur, Sindhuli, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchok, Kavrepalanchok, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Banke and Bardiya.
