KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the US dollar is set at Rs 139.76 for buying and Rs 140.36 for selling. The euro is priced at Rs 162.09 for buying and Rs 162.78 for selling.
Other major currencies include the British pound at Rs 187.43 buying and Rs 188.24 selling, the Swiss franc at Rs 172.78 buying and Rs 173.52 selling, the Australian dollar at Rs 89.70 buying and Rs 90.08 selling, and the Canadian dollar at Rs 100.44 buying and Rs 100.87 selling.
The Japanese yen (per 10 units) stands at Rs 9.40 buying and Rs 9.44 selling, while the Chinese yuan is Rs 19.47 buying and Rs 19.55 selling. Among Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal is set at Rs 37.25 buying and Rs 37.41 selling, the Qatari riyal at Rs 38.35 buying and Rs 38.51 selling, and the UAE dirham at Rs 38.05 buying and Rs 38.22 selling.

High-value currencies include the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 456.79 buying and Rs 458.75 selling, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 370.68
buying and Rs 372.27 selling, and the Omani riyal at Rs 363.01 buying and Rs 364.57 selling.
The Indian rupee is set at Rs 160 per 100 units for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
