Kathmandu, Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 142.84 and the selling rate at Rs 143.44.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 165.11, and the selling rate is Rs 165.80. One British pound sterling carries a buying rate of Rs 188.67 and a selling rate of Rs 189.46. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 177.02, and the selling rate is Rs 177.77.
For other major currencies, one Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 93.20 and a selling rate of Rs 93.59. One Canadian dollar is priced at a buying rate of Rs 101.71 and a selling rate of Rs 102.14. One Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 110.01 and a selling rate of Rs 110.47.

The buying rate for ten Japanese yen is Rs 9.14, and the selling rate is Rs 9.18. One Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 20.19 and a selling rate of Rs 20.27. One Saudi Arabian riyal is set at a buying rate of Rs 38.08 and a selling rate of Rs 38.24. One Qatari riyal carries a buying rate of Rs 39.20 and a selling rate of Rs 39.36.
According to the central bank, one Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.44 and a selling rate of Rs 4.46. One UAE dirham carries a buying rate of Rs 38.89 and a selling rate of Rs 39.05. One Malaysian ringgit is set at a buying rate of Rs 34.57 and a selling rate of Rs 34.71. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.71, and the selling rate is Rs 9.75. One Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 15.03 and a selling rate of Rs 15.10. One Danish krone carries a buying rate of Rs 22.11 and a selling rate of Rs 22.20.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.35 and the selling rate at Rs 18.43. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 465.11 and a selling rate of Rs 467.06. One Bahraini dinar carries a buying rate of Rs 378.90 and a selling rate of Rs 380.49. One Omani riyal is set at a buying rate of Rs 371.01 and a selling rate of Rs 372.57.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
The central bank said these rates may be revised at any time if needed. It added that commercial banks may use slightly different rates and that updated figures are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
