GANDAKI, Sept 29: The Gandaki Province government has decided to provide Rs 100,000 in relief to each family that lost a member in landslides and floods in Baglung and Myagdi districts recently.
The affected households will also receive an additional Rs 25,000 to perform the last rites.

The provincial government meeting held on Monday took a decision to this effect, according to spokesperson and Minister for Finance Jit Bahadur Sherchan.
The government has been collecting details of loss of life and property damage in various districts of the province so that the reconstruction drive can be carried out accordingly.
