KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Some Gen Z protesters walked out of talks after Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel reportedly referred to businessman Durga Prasai and the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) as key stakeholders in the ongoing movement.
One of the protestors, Raksha Bam, said this while leaving the Nepal Army Headquarters.

“The Army Chief called us to meet the President and asked us to sit for talks with Durga Prasai and the RSP group,” Bam wrote on social media, “Since the Army Chief himself labeled them as stakeholders, we believe this undermines the sacrifices made during the Gen Z movement and the historic journey of change. Therefore, we have rejected the proposal and walked out of the Army Headquarters to prepare for further discussions.”
