Gold price drops by Rs 1,000 per tola

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 149,600 per tola today. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 150,600 on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 31: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) today in the Nepali market.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 149,600 per tola today. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 150,600 on Monday.

Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 1,765 per tola today, down from 1,795 on Monday.
