KATHMANDU, Oct 8: The price of gold increased in the Nepali market on Thursday, while the price of silver declined.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 292,800 per tola on Thursday, up from Rs 292,300 per tola on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the price of silver declined by Rs 35 per tola to Rs 4,390 on Thursday from Rs 4,425 on Wednesday, FENEGOSIDA said.
