BIRGUNJ, Oct 6: Police have seized smuggled goods worth around Rs 1.4 million from different locations in Birgunj.
According to the District Police Office, Parsa, goods worth Rs 1 million, including mobile phones, cosmetics and fruits, were seized from Gandak Chowk of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14.

Similarly, police confiscated smuggled goods worth Rs 400,000 from Rajat Jayanti Chowk of Birgunj-16.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Malla said the seized goods were handed over to the Birgunj Customs Office for further action.
