KATHMANDU, Oct 18: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the government is planning to arrest former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
Addressing the meeting of the opposition parties held on Friday, Chairman Dahal said that the government has a strategy to break the opposition and intimidate leaders by arresting them.

Chairman Dahal said that the recent statements of Prime Minister KP Oli and the top leaders of other ruling parties indicated that the government is making preparations to arrest Lamichhane.
The opposition parties have also decided to stage protests if the government arrest Lamichhane in connection with the cooperative fund embezzlement scam.
