KATHMANDU, Oct 1: The House of Representatives (HoR) has forwarded three bills relating to economic issues to the related committees for thorough discussions and clarity.
In today’s session, the House approved a resolution to send the 'Citizen Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083', the 'Payment and Allowance (First Amendment) Bill, 2083', and the 'Employee Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083' to the relevant committees for further deliberation.
Parliament passes only 12 bills so far
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle presented a proposal before parliament to send the bills to the committees. During the meeting, chairman of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Hari Dhakal, presented the Committee Report on 'Remuneration, Terms and Conditions and Facilities to the Officials at Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment) Bill, 2083' in the meeting.
Meanwhile, the House passed a condolence motion in memory of former member of parliament, Ghanendra Basnet.
The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday.
