KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Newly appointed Minister for Forest and Environment, Madhav Prasad Chaulagain, has pledged to work in accordance with the mandate and sentiments of the Gen Z movement.
Minister Chaulagain, while taking up his office at Singha Durbar on Friday, said his first decision in this role was to organize and manage his Ministry's affairs.

He expressed commitment that he would work to address the sentiment of Karnali Province. He articulated urgency for setting up an office for the operation of the recently established Chhayanath National Park in the Karnali Province.
The newly appointed Minister called for contributions from one and all to institutionalize the changes achieved at the behest of the Gen Z movement.
"Although the interim government is mandated to conduct elections and will run only for a short period, it has been working to address the demands of the Gen Z movement and as per the movement's sentiments," the Minister reiterated.
