KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Shanker Group’s flagship company Jagdamba Steels Pvt Ltd has been awarded the Nepal Standard Quality Award-2015 by the Department of Quality and Standards Nepal for its quality in production and management in 2015.
According to the company, Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi handed the award to the company’s Managing Director Sahil Agrawal in a ceremony held at the department.

Addressing the ceremony, Agrawal said the award had encouraged the company to put more efforts in the future on producing quality products. Jagdamba Steels Pvt Ltd received the “NS Quality Award-2015” for FE 500 Grade Iron Bar.
The company is producing The FE 500 Grade Iron Bar at an international standard and quality. The FE 500 Grade Iron Bar is an earthquake-resistant rebar, the company said.
