KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The government has promoted Joint Secretaries Binod Kumar Kunwar and Uttar Kumar Khatri to the post of secretary.
A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to promote Kunwar and Khatri to the secretary level, government spokesperson and Minister for Education Sasmit Pokharel said.

Kunwar has been appointed chief secretary of Lumbini Province, while Khatri has been appointed chief secretary of Sudurpaschim Province, Pokharel said.
