Passing a condolence proposal, the meeting also decided to announce public holiday on Wednesday in honor of late Koirala, informed Minister for Information and Communications Sher Dhan Rai.
The national flags will be flown at half-mast at all public and government offices across the country for three days starting today. A condolence book will be kept at the Nepali diplomatic missions abroad including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
