Maoist Center confirms key ministerial positions: Barshaman pun to lead finance, Narayankaji Shrestha to oversee foreign affairs ministry

KATHMANDU, March 6: The CPN (Maoist Center) has finalized the names of the ministers who will join the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

According to sources close to the Maoist Center, three Maoist Center ministers will continue to be ministers in the new cabinet. While Narayan Kaji Shrestha will become the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Barshaman Pun will again become the Finance Minister.

Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Rekha Sharma will also continue as ministers. Even though Hit Bahadur Tamang, another leader of the Maoist center, has taken the oath of office, his ministerial portfolio has not been finalized.
