Shakya was originally transferred out of his post on September 21 and later challenged the transfer in the Supreme Court, which on December 8 quashed the transfer decision and ordered his reinstatement as NEA Managing Director.
Sources said that during the meeting, Ghising emphasized that Shakya’s earlier transfer had been made with his consultation. Quoting the minister, the source added: “The transfer was done with your agreement, but you approached the court. Now that the Supreme Court has reinstated you, focus on productive work and avoid escalating conflicts.”
