The incident took place on Wednesday evening and the culprit is 16-year-old Ramujit Mahato of ward no 1 in the VDC, according to District Police Office, Mahottari.
The minor was reportedly returning home after delivering snacks for her father working in the field when the boy grabbed her on the way and raped her in a cow shed inside a mango grave, SP Saurav Rana at the Office said.
The rapist was arrested in the same evening and is under police custody awaiting prosecution on charge of raping a minor. RSS
