KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who is on a visit to Nepal, is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Balendra Shah today (Thursday).
The meeting is expected to focus on preparations for the prime minister's visit to India and possible agenda items for the trip. Misri is scheduled to return to India this afternoon after the meeting.

Visiting Nepal at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Amrit Rai, Misri held separate meetings with various ministers of the Nepal government throughout Wednesday. The discussions focused on potential areas of Nepal-India cooperation and issues that could be raised during the visit.
Misri arrived in Nepal as part of preparations for Prime Minister Shah's visit to India. The date of Shah's visit has not yet been announced.
