Muglin-Narayanghat road opens one-way after landslide debris clearance

Authorities said efforts are underway to fully resume two-way traffic, though rockfalls are still occurring. Drivers have been urged to follow lane discipline.

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: The Muglin-Narayanghat road has reopened one-way after the landslide near Tuin Khola was cleared, according to the Bharatpur Road Division.

Authorities said efforts are underway to fully resume two-way traffic, though rockfalls are still occurring. Drivers have been urged to follow lane discipline.


Meanwhile, traffic on the Muglin-Nagdhunga section remains obstructed due to a landslide near Jwang Khola. As an alternative, vehicles can use the Muglin–Aanbukhaireni–Gorkha–Dhuwadebhanjyang–Ghyampesal–Arughat–Dhadingbesi–Malekhu route, which covers about 90 km, including 85 km of paved road.
