More than dozen are ill from the disease.
They died in Ward No. 3 of Garkhakot VDC in the western part of the district.
Those who died were Puni Tiruwa, Ratibhan Tiruwa and Kalu Tiruwa.
Most of the families in the village are ill from the disease which spread from the second week of May. The symptoms are swelling of lung, diarrhea, and giddiness, said a local Bir Bahadur Shahi.
The VDC is two-days walk from district headquarters and although health team of three health personnel were sent from the District Health Office, they could not reach so far, said locals.
