KATHMANDU, Feb 9: Nepali Congress has called an emergency meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the party after demise of its president Sushil Koirala on Tuesday.
The meeting has been called for 11 am today.
NC calls an emergency CWC meeting
The meeting is expected to hold discussion on the changed situation after the demise of party president Sushil Koirala.
Meanwhile, NC has deferred district level e lection and all other activities related to upcoming general convention March first week. NC senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba informed that the CWC meeting will take the decision to this effect.
According to party Vice President Ram Chandra Paudel, Koiral’s body will remain at his Maharajgunj-based residence till 8 am.
Later the body will be placed till 12 pm at party central office at Sanepa for paying last tribute by party members and other leaders.
