KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Voting under the ongoing 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am today.
The convention will elect new party leadership through voting by 7,255 representatives.
According to Prem Khadka, coordinator of the NC Central Election Committee and senior advocate, voting was initially scheduled to begin at 7:00 am but was postponed by three hours due to rain and technical reasons.

Seven polling stations have been set up at three locations in Kathmandu. Separate voting centers have been arranged based on provinces and representation for the convenience of the representatives.
The polling station at National City Hall will serve representatives from Bagmati Province, while representatives from Koshi, Madhesh, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will cast their votes at Khulamanch.
The Election Committee has also arranged voting at Khulamanch for representatives from sister organizations, well-wisher organizations and Public Relations Committees.
Representatives from Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will vote at the Nepal Academy building.
Representatives must present their identity cards and ensure that their names are on the voter list to be eligible to vote, Khadka said.
