KATHMANDU, March 8: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has congratulated Amresh Kumar Singh of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on his victory in Sarlahi Constituency-4.
Singh defeated Thapa in the House of Representatives election from the constituency.

Taking to social media, Thapa extended his congratulations to Singh on being elected from Sarlahi-4.
“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Amaresh Singh on being elected from Sarlahi Constituency-4. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all voters of this constituency who showed me love, trust and support,” Thapa wrote on Facebook.
He also said he would continue to work, within his initiative and capacity, to address the problems he observed in the constituency.
