KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Santosh Chalise of Nepali Congress has won in Kathmandu Constituency No. 3. Chalise won with 15,158 votes.
According to the Election Commission, Chalise left behind Krishna Bahadur Rai of CPN-UML by almost 4,000 votes.

Rai of UML got 11,196 votes. Rai was elected from this constituency in the previous election.
Durga Bikram Thapa Kshatri of Rastriya Swatantra Party is in third place with 5,865 votes.
