KATHMANDU, Sept 29: The Nepali Congress (NC) will inaugurate its 15th General Convention at Tundikhel in Kathmandu on October 4.
According to a press release issued by the party on Tuesday, the opening ceremony will begin at 2 PM.

The party said ward, rural municipality and municipality-level conventions have been completed, while provincial and House of Representatives constituency-level conventions are underway.
Some constituency-level conventions and the selection of general convention representatives remain pending in several areas due to difficult conditions caused by heavy rainfall, according to the release.
The party said it decided to hold the opening ceremony on October 4 taking into account the situation in the affected areas.
